Invictus II

This is the second lion in a series of four inspired by the Invictus poem by William Ernest Henley. This lion represents the second stanza in the poem

In the fell clutch of circumstance,

I have not winced nor cried aloud.

Under the bludgeonings of chance

My head is bloody, but unbowed.

This poem is known for its themes of willpower, strength in the face of adversity, perserverance and fearlessness.
