Invictus III

This is the third lion in a series of four inspired by the Invictus poem by William Ernest Henley. This lion represents the third stanza in the poem

Beyond this place of wrath and tears

Looms but the horror of the shade,

And yet the menace of the years

Finds, and shall find, me unafraid.

This poem is known for its themes of willpower, strength in the face of adversity, perserverance and fearlessness.
